Was down there on the Lower East Side the other night. Was great to see that Katz's is still there... Despite rumors of its imminent demise... Whole Foods is a block away... Stands out like an over-gentrified sore thumb... Nice Guy Eddie's is long gone... Another favorite haunt of days gone by once upon a time...
